Middleton Martial Arts Academy is excited to promote a local fitness event tailored specifically for ladies. This event focuses on self-defence and fitness, providing an opportunity for women in Manchester to enhance their personal safety skills while improving their physical well-being.
The event will feature Muay Thai, a captivating combat martial art that combines stand-up striking techniques with effective clinching manoeuvres. Affectionately known as the “art of eight limbs,” Muay Thai utilises the fists, elbows, knees, and shins to create a dynamic and versatile fighting style.
At Middleton Martial Arts Academy, we take pride in fostering a friendly, welcoming, and safe environment for all of our members. Our aim is to cater to individuals from different backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you are looking to stay fit or aspire to become a competitive fighter, our classes cater to everyone's needs.
We offer flexible payment options, including pay-as-you-go, family, and monthly membership plans. This ensures that our classes are accessible to individuals of all ages and budgets.
Our experienced coaches, Grzegorz Kubiak (Greg) and his assistant Mark Grainger, boast a combined Muay Thai experience of over 35 years. Grzegorz, who competes professionally, has trained and fought under the guidance of Jompop Kiatphontip from the renowned Kiatphontip camp in Leeds. Having fought both in Thailand and at some of the UK's largest shows, Grzegorz currently holds the title of the Northern Champion at 67 kg.
