For those aiming for nationally recognised outdoor instruction qualifications, Mountain Independence provides “Get Qualified Courses.” Stu and his team, approved Mountain Training providers for CWI, RCI, and ML, deliver courses for career changes, volunteering opportunities, or personal challenges. The experienced instructors are actively involved in the awards' work.

Mountain Independence prioritises safety, ensuring activities are insured, equipment is regularly checked, and thorough risk assessments are conducted. All staff members are qualified and professional.

Stu holds the highest UK qualifications, the Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor (MCI) and Winter Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor (WMCI). His expertise assures climbers of learning from a highly qualified professional.
