Mas Oyama Karate New Zealand is thrilled to announce the upcoming MOKNZ Kata & Kumite Tournament 2024! This exciting event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Eulogy Lounge located at the Whanganui Race Course in New Zealand.
The tournament will kick off with the Kata section starting at 10:00 am, followed by a short 30-minute break before the Kumite section. Kumite is set to begin between 11:30 am to 12:00 pm, with all Kumite competitors required to be present by 11:00 am to confirm their bout start times.
Spectators are encouraged to come and support their favorite athletes by paying an entry fee of $10 for adults and high school students, and $5 for primary school children. It's going to be a thrilling event filled with impressive displays of skill and determination!
Competitors who wish to participate are invited to submit their entry form along with a non-refundable fee of $50 for Kumite or $30 for Kata before Friday, April 12, 2024.
