Inspirer, Expirez, Recommencez. Mūnnshala - literally, “the house of three” - is located at the foot of Butte Montmartre and welcomes you. It is a space to enter the world of Yoga and practice it quietly, protected from the disturbances of our daily life. A house for us. A space for oneself. Mūnnshala Yoga is a welcoming house open to everyone, beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Every student will always be welcome, with their intentions and needs. Our house is yours, and will always be a place that accommodates you, and where, in all circumstances, it is good to live. Under this roof, you can nourish yourself with different practices. The diversity of approaches is our choice, and your richness. Whether they are gentle - dynamic (Yin-Yang), postural (Asana), respiratory (Pranayama) or meditative practices, these will calm your body and mind. Discover our schedule. Offering an absolute encounter with Yoga, our space is a bridge between the West and India. Our holistic approach to practice, both postural and spiritual, embodies the meaning of the term Yoga, which means "union". Union of body and mind, in order to allow us to find harmony and balance. Fundamental courses, more specific sessions, workshops, and targeted training will help you establish your foundations, nourish and deepen your practice. Discover our workshops and training. Why MŪNNSHALA? "Awaken the body, Soothe the mind and Open the heart" Mūnnshala comes from the Sanskrit "shala" which can be translated as "the house." "Mūnn" means the number "three" in Malayalam, a language spoken in southwest India, particularly in the state of Kerala. Thus Mūnnshala represents the house of the body, heart, and mind. Three foundations that the practice of yoga aims to unite. Our practices may be many but they complement and support each other. Thus, the learning offered is comprehensive and transversal, and can evolve, according to each individual's personal development and well-being.

These practices are designed to enrich themselves as we meet and feel the needs. Our shala is a sanctuary where we are all invited to come cultivate our inner space, our self. There is a caring community and attentive teachers. Mūnnshala can be a place of anchoring, a refuge, a space where our challenges are turned into learning experiences. Teachers Sîtâ Montoya Mattalia Vinyasa. Vinyasa Sitâ Montoya Mattalia An apprenticeship of yoga between tradition and renewal. Her teaching: Although Sitâ's Vinyasa classes maintain a traditional structure (alignment, breathing, gaze), you may find yourself upside down in no time! Why practice with Sitâ might appeal to you? We take the time to hold the postures, feel our body, create space, and work deeply. You can rediscover your body and refine your body perception. Music is heard but not listened to, it is there to support and accompany the practice. Sitâ lives what she teaches and makes a point of being approachable. Do not hesitate to ask questions and engage in discussions about yoga. Sitâ grew up in the world of Eastern traditions and has been sensitized to Indian culture from a very young age. She knows a thing or two about it! For whom? For those seeking a dynamic physical activity, who are not afraid of challenges. Sitâ's challenge is substantial, we work on our ego, yes it's okay not to succeed at everything immediately, patience is a virtue! If Yoga were a person? Master Yoda. Yoga in one word for Sitâ: Transmission. What students have to say: “I feel confident with Sitâ, I learn a lot. Sitâ always gives plenty of great advice to progress (when the number of students allows, we end the class in the form of a workshop to work on a specific posture).” Book a class Shane Phillips Iyengar Shane Phillips Iyengar His mission: share his passion for yoga and help others.
