

Well-being and improved mental health, spending time in nature has been found to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, enhance creativity, and improve focus and attention. At Mindful Yoga, we understand the healing power of nature and incorporate it into our classes.
Our studio is located in a tranquil setting in Hampstead, London. The yoga room overlooks a beautiful garden and treetops, providing a serene and uplifting atmosphere for our practitioners. Mats, blocks, blankets, and belts are provided, ensuring that you have all the necessary equipment for a comfortable and fulfilling practise.
Classes at Mindful Yoga start in January 2021, and we offer a variety of options to suit different preferences and needs. On Mondays, we have a Restful Yoga class at 7pm, allowing you to unwind and rejuvenate after a long day. Tuesdays mornings are dedicated to our Freedom Style Yoga with Mindfulness class at 11am, where you can explore your true nature and experience the joy of mindful movement.
In addition to our studio classes, we also offer Yoga and Mindfulness in Nature sessions at Hampstead Heath on Saturday mornings at 9am. This allows you to connect with the beauty and tranquilly of the natural environment while engaging in your yoga practise.
To ensure a personalised experience and maintain a peaceful atmosphere, our classes are limited to a maximum of 6 people. Booking in advance is required, and we ask participants to pay for a block of 6 sessions to secure their place. If you cannot attend a session, you have the flexibility to make it up in any of the other sessions within the same week. Please note that once bookings have been taken, no refunds are provided.
At Mindful Yoga, we believe that yoga is a mindful union of mind and body, helping us to live a life of balance. Through the practises of asana, pranayama, relaxation, and meditation, we can explore our true nature and carry the benefits of yoga into our everyday lives.
In our classes, we emphasise the importance of mindfulness, paying attention to the present moment and cultivating a deep awareness of our body and breath. We encourage individuals to listen to their bodies and practise at their own pace and limitations, never sacrificing the body for the sake of achieving a pose.
Mindful awareness allows us to enter our practise with intuition and respect, gently nurturing our bodies and finding relaxation within the poses. As our minds become quieter, and we let go of tension, we can experience a meditative state of mind. Mindful Yoga is meditation in action.
