Mind & Body Yoga is a yoga studio located in Nottingham, offering a wide range of classes and services to support individuals on their holistic health and self-development journey. By quieting the mind, students are able to let go of negative emotions such as anxiety, fear, and anger, and cultivate qualities of patience, acceptance, and compassion.
The practise of yoga is viewed as a healing journey, focusing on listening to and respecting one's body. It is not about attaining perfect postures, but rather about being sensitive to the body's needs and limitations. The Sanskrit phrase “sukha sthira asanam” guides students to find the balance between strength and ease, encouraging them to work within their own physical abilities while expanding their boundaries across all levels of consciousness.
Mind & Body Yoga offers a variety of classes catered to different levels and preferences. Currently, all classes are available via Zoom until further notice. There is a Wednesday class from 19:30-20:30 and a Friday class from 11:00-12:00. Prices for classes vary, starting from 8.
50 for a single class, 24. 00 for four consecutive classes, and 40. 00 for six classes over eight weeks.
In addition to regular classes, Mind & Body Yoga also organises overseas retreats, providing a unique opportunity for students to deepen their practise in a serene and nurturing environment. Furthermore, the studio offers personal training sessions tailored to individual needs and goals, ensuring personalised attention and guidance.
To further support the holistic well-being of its community, Mind & Body Yoga also offers Hypnobirthing classes, which empower expectant mothers to approach childbirth with confidence and relaxation. The studio also provides a selection of products that promote wellness and support the yoga journey.
