Through her journey, she has discovered inner personal truths that have led her on a lifelong pursuit of self-knowledge.
As a compassionate therapist, Ashka believes in the power of inner work to bring us closer to our true selves. She understands that true transformation and healing can only occur when we shine awareness onto our inner landscapes. Ashka has extensively studied various traditions like Western esoterism, mysticism, Yogic tradition, and Buddhism. Her therapeutic practises are informed by these disciplines, allowing her to guide clients in deepening their connexion with their centre and exploring different layers of their being.
Ashka is trained as a Meditation Teacher and in various Yoga styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin Yoga, as well as Yoga Nidra. These practises have deeply influenced her own personal journey and inform her therapeutic approach.
In addition to her diverse background, Ashka holds a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling, allowing her to provide support to those facing challenging times, seeking new perspectives, or simply wanting to deepen their self-understanding. Humanistic Counselling views individuals as whole beings and creates a safe and trusting environment for clients to explore their experiences. Through this approach, Ashka helps clients gain greater self-awareness, improve self-esteem, nurture better relationships, overcome challenges, and manage depression, anxiety, and stress.
Recognising that sometimes words alone cannot fully express experiences and emotions, Ashka understands the importance of incorporating the body's wisdom into therapy. Our bodies hold a wealth of information and can express emotions through body language and somatic sensations. By incorporating somatic practises, Ashka helps clients access the knowledge stored within their physiology and facilitates deeper healing.
