

The Merritt Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) is a community-based volunteer organization in Merritt, dedicated to providing the youth with a nurturing environment to learn and enjoy the game of soccer. MYSA prides itself on offering dedicated coaches who focus on the development of each player while instilling the values of teamwork and sportsmanship. The association is grateful for the financial support from the Province of British Columbia.
MYSA offers various divisions for youth aged between 4 and 13, with divisions such as Small Fries (U5), U7, U9, U11, and U13. The season typically runs from the week of April 8th to the week of June 10th. Registration fees vary depending on the division and registration deadlines, with late fees starting from March 17th.
The MYSA Executive team comprises passionate individuals dedicated to the smooth running of the association. The President, Brandi Porada, leads the team with the Vice-President, Paul Sutton, Secretary Chelsea Werrun, Treasurer Heather Yastremsky, Registrar Jim Johnston, and Web Admin Valerie Grimshire.
Registration for the 2024 season is now open, welcoming both participants and volunteers who wish to be Head or Assistant Coaches. Those interested can register by creating an account on the MYSA website. For any inquiries or issues, individuals can contact the association directly.
