Welcome to Mendlesham Bowls Club, located in the heart of Stowmarket. With around 30 members, we are a small and friendly club that welcomes both seasoned lawn bowls players and those who are new to the game.
Our club has a rich history of success in the seasons leading up to the Covid-19 pandemic, competing in several leagues in the Suffolk and Norfolk areas. Our fixtures include matches against teams such as Woodfield, Walsham-le-Willows, Thorndon, Haughley, Bramford, Combs Ford, Rookery, and more. Join us on these match days to cheer on our talented players.
In addition to league matches, we also organise a range of internal club competitions and social events to bring our members together. These events serve as great opportunities to have fun, bond with fellow members, and raise funds for the club. We encourage everyone to get involved and make the most of our vibrant club community.
Our green is located in the centre of Mendlesham village in Cuttings Close, just opposite the Community Centre and play park. The picturesque surroundings make for an enjoyable play environment, and our well-maintained green ensures a top-quality playing surface.
