Melton Warriors Rugby Union Club is located in the western suburbs of Victoria and is proud to be considered the home of rugby in the region. Situated on the Northern outskirts of Melton towards Toolern Vale, the club has been a strong force in regional rugby for over 42 years and aims to become one of Victoria's strongest metropolitan teams in the future.

The club has established a unique partnership with regional Victorian clubs to build and grow player pathways for the region. In 2016, six members of the Melton Senior Rugby team were selected into The Victorian Country Barbarians Representative side, showcasing the club's commitment to developing top-quality players.

At present, the club boasts seven junior teams, a senior men's team, and an associate women's team, with over 150 registered players ranging from boys and girls to senior men. In 2016, all competition teams from U12 upwards made the finals, with the U16's going on to win the U16 2016 B Grade leadingship.

Melton Warriors Rugby Club is known for having some of the best facilities in regional Victoria. If you want to play serious rugby and have a great time doing it, the club provides an excellent choice. They warmly welcome new senior and junior players, offering support and assistance to those new to the area.

The club's home ground is at McPhersons Park, a short 10-minute drive north from Melton town centre along Coburns Road. Melton Warriors Rugby Club is affiliated with the Victorian Rugby Union and fields teams in various divisions, including the Rebel Rascal U6/7, TGI FRIDAY Pathways U8, TGI FRIDAY Pathways U10, and junior competition teams from U12 to U18.

In terms of senior rugby, the Melton Seniors had an exceptional season in recent years, achieving 13 back-to-back victories leading to the grand final and ultimately claiming a minor topship. Although they narrowly missed out on winning the final against the Ballarat Rugby Club, their achievements demonstrated the strength and talent within the club.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Melton Warriors Rugby Club relies on support from sponsors, community associations, and dedicated volunteers. They are honoured to introduce their sponsors for the 2019 season and express their gratitude for their contribution.

It is important to note that due to an exciting re-development project for McPherson Park, the home of Melton Warriors Rugby Club will be relocated for the 2019 season. The specific grounds for the season are yet to be announced, but the preseason grounds will be located at Melton South Recreation Reserve on Northcott Street, Melton South.
