Randori (multiple attacker practice) may be included in some classes to help students learn how to deal with multiple attackers.
Etiquette and Respect Aikido training is based on mutual respect and cooperation. Students are expected to treat each other with respect, follow the instructors guidance, and help each other learn and improve. Bowing is a sign of respect and is done before entering and leaving the dojo, before and after practising techniques, and when working with a partner. Students are also expected to maintain a positive attitude, show courtesy, and be mindful of safety during training.
