In addition to koalas, we also have a wide range of other native Australian animals for you to meet. From cuddly wombats to playful kangaroos, you can interact with these unbelievable creatures and learn about their unique behaviours and adaptations. Our friendly staff are always available to answer any questions and share interesting facts about the animals.

As you make your way through Maru, be sure to stop by Pirate Petes Mini-Golf for some family-friendly fun. Explore the adventurous pirate-themed mini-golf course, complete with life-size pirate figures, as you putt your way through Australian landscapes. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned golfer, there's something for everyone to enjoy on this exciting course.

After working up an appetite, head over to the Homestead Bistro for a delicious meal. Enjoy breakfast or lunch in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful Australian scenery. Our menu features a variety of dishes, including traditional Australian favourites and international cuisine, made with locally sourced ingredients.

Located on the Bass Highway in Grantville, we are conveniently situated just fifteen minutes away from Phillip Island and its famous penguin parade. Maru Koala and Animal Park is the perfect destination for a day trip from Melbourne or a stopover on your way to explore the wonders of Phillip Island.

We also invite you to support our conservation efforts by sponsoring the planting of a tree in our new Eucalyptus plantation.
