Welcome to Manly Scout Hall, located in the idyllic western end of the Botanical Gardens in Ivanhoe Park, Manly. This peaceful and serene spot is a favourite among yoga groups and others seeking a quiet location for their activities.
Manly Scout Hall offers two halls available for hire, providing flexibility for both casual and regular bookings. The Upper Hall (L2) can be hired on a casual basis for $35 per hour with a minimum of $100, along with a $150 deposit. For regular hire, the rate is $30 per hour, also with a $150 deposit. The Lower Hall (L1) can be hired on a casual basis for $50 per hour with a minimum of $100, along with a $150 deposit.
For regular hire, the rate is $40 per hour, also with a $150 deposit.
Both halls are well-equipped, featuring facilities such as a fridge, electric stove, urns, and a microwave. Additionally, there are two toilets (male and female) with shower facilities available. Please note that payment must be made in full, including the refundable deposit, and the hirer must meet all hall hire conditions in order to receive a refund. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that all rubbish is taken care of, and cleaning of the hall is also the hirer's responsibility.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in a $50 fee deducted from the deposit.
To check for availability, interested parties can view the Google Calendar provided on our website. Please note that any unused time or time exceeded will be charged at the same hourly rate, with no exceptions. Due to parking and residential restrictions imposed by the council, the hall can only cater to small functions. We also maintain an alcohol-free policy.
To make a booking, all casual hall enquiries can be directed to Ivanhoehallhire@gmail. Com. Once your booking is confirmed, please complete the appropriate form (P2 for casual hire, P3 for regular hire) and make payment via bank transfer using the provided account details. Don't forget to include your surname in the reference to ensure accurate tracking of your payment.
Once the payment is completed, please email Ivanhoehallhire@gmail. Com with a copy of your bank deposit for reference.
