Magill Little Athletics Centre (“MLAC”) is an athletics club that encourages children aged from U/6 to U/17, as well as Tiny Tots (ages 3 to 5), to participate in a range of athletic events. The focus of MLAC is on fun, fitness, and improvement, rather than winning. The club provides equipment suitable for the size and ability of the child.
Registrations for the 2023-2024 season are now open at MLAC. New members can try out the club for two weeks for free by registering for our 'Come and Try' program. To join Magill Little Athletics club, interested participants can click on the 'Register here' button.
MLAC has a new location this season at Caterer Oval, St Peters College, enter from Hatswell Street Hackney. Most Sundays, the athletic activities start in the morning, creating a perfect opportunity for young athletes to kick-start their day with some friendly competition and exercise.
Returning members can register from October 15th, 2023, while new members, including those participating in 'Come and Try,' can join from October 22nd, 2023.
For our youngest athletes, we offer the Tiny Tots program, specially designed for 3-5 year olds. If you're unsure whether to register for Tiny Tots or join the regular program, feel free to refer to our Age Group Calendar for more information and guidance.
In addition to athletes, MLAC is also looking for dedicated individuals who are interested in becoming committee members for the next season. If you have a passion for athletics and would like to contribute to the club's success, please email committee@magill-lac.org.
