Taking place on various dates throughout the year, including February 17th, March 9th, April 13th, and more, these trackdays cater to participants of all skill levels. Whether you're a novice looking to gain confidence or an experienced driver seeking to enhance your skills, there's a session designed for you. Each participant will enjoy a total of six, 15-minute sessions on the track.
The day kicks off with participants signing on at 7.30am, followed by a briefing at 8.40am to ensure everyone is aware of the rules and regulations. To control noise levels, noise breaks will be implemented based on hourly average readings.
To join in the excitement, drivers must be at least 16 years old and possess a full UK license or race license. Safety is of utmost importance, which is why all drivers and passengers are required to wear helmets and have their arms and legs fully covered. Passengers, who must be at least 14 years old, may be asked to provide identification and a parental consent if they are below 18.
All vehicles on the track must be equipped with front and rear towing eyes or towing fixtures. Additionally, drivers and riders must be medically and physically fit to participate in the activity, and they should not have any medical conditions that require notification to the DVLA.
Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impede their ability to drive safely. The vehicle used for the track day should comply with MOT minimum standards for road use or current Motorsport UK or Oval Track Racing Council technical and safety regulations. In the case of classic cars that are MOT exempt, acceptance will be considered on an individual basis, but all cars must have working seat belts or harnesses.
It is essential that all vehicles are in good mechanical and structural condition and suitable for use on the track. Seat belts and harnesses must be worn correctly at all times, ensuring maximum safety.
Participants are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in proper condition throughout the activity. Therefore, all wheels fitted must be compatible with the vehicle and securely fastened according to the manufacturer's recommendations. For single-seater and open-wheel cars, prior approval from LHRC is required. Please note that vehicles exceeding 1.85m in height are not permitted, and racing slicks are only allowed if a Motorsport UK approved roll cage is also installed.
