One of the biggest treats at Lower Grimpstonleigh is the luxury indoor heated swimming pool, housed in a beautiful oak-timbered barn. With underfloor heating and air conditioning, the pool stays at a pleasant 30 degrees Celsius all year round. Bifold doors open out to a lovely deck, offering fantastic views over the gardens and orchard—a perfect spot to unwind.

Accommodation includes two charming self-catering barns. The Top Barn, set in an old cider orchard, comfortably sleeps four, while the Cider Barn, a medieval stone and thatched beauty, sleeps up to five and is near the coastal town of Kingsbridge.

Upon arrival, Mrs Reynolds welcomes her guests with a delightful Clotted Cream Tea hamper. It includes a bottle of cider, Nespresso coffee pods, tea, sugar, milk, Burts crisps, and eggs from her very own chickens. She’s thought of everything—beach towels, crabbing lines, boogie boards, and even Seasalt wellies in various sizes are provided.

For those who love a bit of alfresco dining, there’s the Crown Pavilion Gazebo or a lovely spot by the stream, complete with a Weber gas BBQ. Plus, your well-behaved furry friends are welcome in the Cider Barn.
