Class, please click here. We offer a wide range of classes to cater to children of all ages and abilities. Our curriculum follows the ISTD & Acrobatic Arts syllabus, ensuring quality dance education for our students.
For our youngest dancers, we have the Tiny Dancer class available for children as young as 2 years old. As they grow and develop, they can explore ballet, modern, tap, and acrobatic arts classes from the age of 4.
Our purpose-built school is located at the Clovelly Road Industrial Estate in Bideford, Devon. We have excellent facilities to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our students and their families. The dance studios feature Harlequin sprung flooring, ensuring the safety and comfort of our dancers. There is a watching window for parents to observe their children's progress during class.
We also have an elevator and disabled amenities to cater to the needs of all our students. Onsite parking is available for convenience, along with baby changing facilities and a small play area in the reception area.
Louisa Hockin, the principal of the school, has a wealth of experience in the performing arts. She has been dancing, singing, and acting since the age of 8. After receiving training in London, Louisa successfully gained a place at the renowned 'Laine Theatre Arts' in Epsom, Surrey. She graduated with a Level 6 Diploma in Musical Theatre, as well as teaching qualifications from ISTD.
Louisa has also performed internationally, both on cruise ships and in various entertainment venues.
Heading our ballet department is Sara Hodder, who has dedicated her life to dance. She studied with the Royal Academy of Dancing and pursued Russian ballet, Russian character dance, and contemporary dance at the Legat School of Ballet. Sara is an accomplished teacher and has her own dance studio in Bideford. She has also taught and performed in the United States, bringing her expertise to dancers across the globe.
