In Lishi classes, students are introduced to a range of exercises and techniques that make up the Lishi system. These include Daoist Taijiquan (Tai Chi) forms, such as the Square Yard, Flying Hands, and sword and post forms. Additionally, the practise incorporates Kai Men, a system of Daoist Yoga that focuses on opening up the meridians, as well as Dao Yin breathing exercises for good health and energy cultivation. Students also learn Qi Gong, a practise that teaches how to use and direct intrinsic energy, and the dynamic self-defence system of Feng Shou (Hand of the Wind) Kung Fu.
To attend classes, all you need is loose, comfortable clothing, such as tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt, along with trainers or black gym pumps. The school provides a safe and supportive environment for students to explore their physical and mental capabilities.
