Lisburn Sub Aqua Club

Welcome to Lisburn Sub Aqua Club, located in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Lisburn Sub Aqua Club is a vibrant and inclusive group of divers who are passionate about the sport of Scuba Diving. Celebrating our 52nd anniversary in 2022, we dive nearly every weekend throughout the year, with additional mid-week diving during the summer.

Our club is family-friendly, with a minimum age for membership set at 14. We typically meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in our club rooms located beside the Lagan Valley Leisureplex. We have access to the swimming pool for training on Tuesday nights from 9:30pm. Our dives take place along the stunning Northern Irish coast, and we also organise regular expeditions to destinations like Scapa Flow, Isle of Man, the Red Sea, Tenerife, and Arranmore.

Conveniently situated at the Lagan Valley Leisureplex in Lisburn, just 8 miles from Belfast, we are well-equipped with our own boats, compressors, and Scuba equipment. Beginners can use our equipment free of charge while learning to Scuba Dive with us.

Interested in experiencing the thrill of being underwater? Take a Try Dive in the comfort and safety of our pool at Lagan Valley Leisureplex. It's a fantastic adventure and makes for a great gift as well.

If you're looking to learn to dive, our BSAC Ocean Diver course is perfect for you. Starting from the swimming pool and progressing to your first dives in the sea, this course provides you with an internationally recognised qualification.

Already qualified with BSAC or another organisation such as PADI, SSI, CFT, or CMAS? You can join us and dive to your current qualification. We also provide crossover opportunities to BSAC and ongoing training to further your skills and qualifications.

Lisburn Sub Aqua Club offers comprehensive training for BSAC qualifications, ranging from Ocean Diver to Advanced Diver. We also promote regional BSAC skill development courses in areas such as Boat Handling, Oxygen Administration, and Search and Recovery Techniques. For those interested in becoming instructors and teaching scuba diving, we provide support and guidance.

As a member of Lisburn Sub Aqua Club, you'll enjoy all the advantages of learning and diving with BSAC in a dynamic club atmosphere. Membership includes gas fills and use of club boats for dives. We provide ongoing training, support, and a social community to connect with fellow divers.

As part of BSAC, members of Lisburn Sub Aqua Club also have access to a range of benefits, including excellent training and internationally recognised qualifications. You'll receive member insurance coverage, a monthly magazine (SCUBA), access to BSAC training events, and discounts on dive travel and equipment.
