Lilydale Radio Yacht Club Inc is a sailing club located in Lilydale, Australia. The club offers a variety of sailing activities and welcomes both members and visitors to join in the fun.
On Saturday afternoons, the club holds Dragon class boat races on the first and third Saturday of each month. The DF95's sail on the first Saturday, while the DF65's sail on the third Saturday. Racing starts at approximately 1:00pm and finishes around 4:00pm. On the first Saturday, skippers can enjoy a BBQ before the racing begins.
A $2. 00 donation fee is required for the Dragon Force races, but skippers who participate in both Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon races only need to pay one fee.
Saturday mornings are dedicated to racing, with activities starting at 9:30am and usually ending around 1:00pm. The exact timing depends on weather conditions and the number of skippers attending. All members and visitors are welcome to participate. At the beginning of each month, the club organises a BBQ after the races, providing an opportunity for skippers to socialise.
The attendance donation for Saturday morning racing is $2. 00 per skipper, which also covers monthly trophy races, buoys, boat registration, rescue boat services, public liability Insurance, trailer hire, bulletins, and two sailing days per week.
Every Tuesday morning, the club hosts sailing for the “wrinklies” at Lilydale Lake, starting at 9:00am. As with other sailing events, this is subject to weather conditions and the number of participants. All members and visitors are welcome to join, but after midday, the rescue boat is not available for boat retrievals. Tuesday Morning Sailing is free of charge.
Lilydale Lake is home to the club's sailing activities. Visitors can find the club at the boat ramp in the Lillydale Lake Reserve, approximately 40 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Access to the reserve is via Swansea Road, and the club meets at the boat ramp located at the Lake end of the carpark.
On the second Saturday of every month, the club holds International One Metre (IOM) racing at Lilydale Lake. These races start at 1:00pm and usually conclude around 3:30pm. All members and visitors are welcome to participate. For more details, members can refer to the club's Calendar of events in the Members Area.
For those interested in trying radio sailing, the club offers a “Casual Fun Day Sailing” every Thursday morning. The activities start around 9:00am and are dependent on the weather conditions. Thursday Morning Sailing is free of charge.

The championships will be held in sunny South Yunderup, Western Australia, and the club encourages as many participants as possible to consider making the trip. South Yunderup is a popular holiday and summer destination, so early arrangements for accommodation are advised.
