For those with an interest in pursuing a career as a swimming teacher, the STA Award Course is the perfect starting point. This comprehensive course equips you with the necessary skills and technical knowledge to teach swimming to participants of all skill levels, from non-swimmers to advanced swimmers. And if you've already completed the STA Award qualification, you can take things to the next level by enrolling in the STA Level 2 Certificate qualification. As per the HSE regulations, all employers are required to conduct a first aid training needs assessment to determine the type and number of first-aiders needed within their organisation. To meet these requirements, Leeds Lifesaving provides both the First Aid at Work (a comprehensive 3-day course) and the Emergency First Aid at Work (a condensed 1-day course). Furthermore, annual refresher training of 3 hours is recommended for all first-aiders to ensure their skills remain up to date.
