Ladies Football Academy

The Ladies Football Academy (LFA) is a vibrant and inclusive football club based in London, dedicated to promoting women's football and providing a positive and supportive environment for players of all levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced player, LFA offers a range of programmes and teams to cater to your needs and goals.

At LFA, they believe in fostering a real sense of community and camaraderie amongst all members. They aim to introduce the game to as many women as possible, regardless of their level of experience, and help all players improve their skills and fitness.

For beginners or those looking for casual football, LFA offers sessions that require no commitment. Participants can take the sessions at their own pace, with sessions specifically designed for beginners. Regular social events, including an Awards Night, allow players to connect and build friendships off the field. Additionally, the Beginner's Midweek League provides opportunities for progression and competitive play.

For those seeking a competitive team to play for, LFA has four eleven-side teams that participate in Saturday league football. Technical training sessions and midweek training are available for some teams, allowing players to work on their skills and tactics. Goalkeeping coaching is also offered to those interested. Like the beginners, competitive players also have regular social events and the option to participate in midweek football all year round.

LFA's sessions have different timings suited to the needs and availability of players. The 8. 00am to 10. 15am session is for invited players from LFA Clapham, LFA Galaxy, and LFA Hotshots, focusing on both theory and practical work.

The 10. 00am to 11. 30am session is designed for beginners and includes ball drills, fitness work, and small-sided matches. The 11.

10am to 12. 45pm session is exclusive to invited players from LFA United and emphasises technical training, theory work, and intensive fitness and ball drills.

LFA Dynamos, LFA Clapham, LFA Galaxy, and LFA Hotshots are some successful teams within the club. LFA Dynamos were crowned the 2020/2021 CWSFL premiership Champions, showcasing the club's dedication to excelling in competitive football. LFA Clapham and LFA Galaxy have also achieved impressive titles, including Division 1 and Division 2 Champions respectively. The club also has a development team known as LFA Galaxy Development.
