Krissa Ludvigsen Yoga is a unique yoga instructor based in Port Moody. Krissa is a 500hr certified Dharma Yoga teacher, global nomad, mother of two, and the creator of the Dharma Straps. Her journey with yoga began at the age of 17 when she viewed it as a physical practice centered around forming shapes on the mat. However, her perspective shifted when she discovered Dharma Yoga at 24, transforming yoga into a spiritual practice that brought her contentment and gratitude beyond expectations.
With almost a decade of teaching experience in London, Hong Kong, and Norway, Krissa found her calling to give back through yoga. The teachings and philosophy of yoga resonated deeply with her, providing direction, community, inspiration, and emotional healing. At the age of 35, she delved into ceremonies in the mountains of Santa Cruz, California, exploring shamanism, plant medicine, and soulful healing. These experiences gave her a new framework for understanding yoga, emphasizing the concept of remembrance in her practice.
