Kingston City Soccer Club, established in 1974, is a professional football club located in Clayton South, Victoria. The club competes in the National leading League VIC 2 and is deeply rooted in the local community. With teams ranging from under 7s to Over 35s, Kingston City FC provides opportunities for players of all ages to participate in the sport they love.
The history of the club is rich, spanning over 40 years of football. Originally known as Liverpool Soccer Club, it was renamed Clarinda Soccer Club in 1975. The club made its league debut in Division 4 of the District League that same year. In 1982, the club moved to its current home ground at The Grange Reserve in Clayton South.
In 1998, the club underwent a renaming and became Kingston City Soccer Club.
The club's strong ties to the local Greek Australian community are reflected in its foundation and continued support throughout the years. The dedication of its members and committee is apparent in the club's growth and success. The 2023 committee comprises President Sam Koulis, Vice President Loukas Mitsou, Secretary Tim Schleiger, and Treasurer Nic Maditianos, along with committee members Lazo Panidis, Petran Totsidos, John Grezos, and Johnny K.
Kingston City FC prides itself on its various teams, including the Senior team currently competing in NPL 2 Victoria and the Under 21s team. The club also offers a Mini Roos programme designed for children aged 7–12 years. This programme aims to introduce participants to the sport of soccer through modified games and activities. It focuses on skill development, physical activity, and fostering lifelong friendships.
