From gravel pits to small lakes and river stretches, there's something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned angler or just getting started. Joining is a doddle. Just download the application form from their website and bring it along to one of their monthly meetings at the pub. Pop in a passport-sized photo and payment (cash or cheque, old-school style) and you're good to go!

Chris and the team are big on encouraging junior memberships too. They host training days where experienced instructors will show the ropes to the younger anglers. Parents do need to stay with their juniors, but it's a great way to spend time together. And bonus – the club's got some tackle you can borrow during these sessions.
