Kimaya Yoga, located in Croydon, is a dedicated and passionate yoga instructor who believes in the transformative power of yoga. With a deep understanding of its origins and the benefits it provides, Kimaya seeks to guide individuals towards a sense of well-being through the practise of yoga.
Yoga, originating in ancient India, has been practised for thousands of years and continues to be embraced by millions of people worldwide. With various types of yoga available, Hatha yoga has become one of the most popular forms. Kimaya specialises in Hatha yoga, which includes breathing exercises, stretching exercises, and relaxation practise.
Hatha yoga offers tremendous value to one's health on multiple levels. By releasing tension from both the mind and body, it increases energy levels. Scientific research supports the numerous benefits of regular Hatha yoga practise. Studies show that it increases energy, massages internal organs, reduces muscular aches and pains, lowers high blood pressure, calms the nervous system, reduces anxiety, and promotes restful sleep.
Kimaya offers a variety of classes both in-person and online. These classes include Hatha yoga, flowing beat yoga, yoga for babies, relaxation, and meditation classes. For those who prefer online sessions, classes are available on Mondays and Thursdays. In-person classes are held at Sutton Saraswati Yoga Studio and Croydon Sandilands Sports Club on select days.
