Kesteven Morris, established in 1976 by Trevor Mayfield and Ray Worman, has grown into Lincolnshire's leading Morris dance team. Operating from Sleaford, they welcome individuals of all skill levels. Whether you're an experienced dancer or a complete novice, Kesteven Morris is committed to providing a space for everyone to learn, enjoy, and be part of a spirited group.

The team, featuring seven men and seven women dancers, performs various styles, including Cotswold Morris, North West Processional, and East Anglian Molly Dances. In 2018, they introduced mixed dances, creating dynamic new performances. Their musicians, playing melodeons and accordions, add to the lively atmosphere.

Performances take place throughout the year at festivals across the UK, including Bampton, Lichfield, and local Sleaford dances. Kesteven Morris also travels to exotic locations, adding an adventurous touch to their repertoire.

Interested in trying Morris dancing? Taster sessions are held every Tuesday in 2024, offering a chance to join the team and dive into this unique English tradition. The group’s passion for Morris dancing not only keeps the tradition alive but also promotes physical and cognitive health, as recommended by the BBC's "Trust Me I'm a Doctor."
