Karen's journey with Pilates began when a GP recommended it to alleviate lower back pain during pregnancy. She found that it not only helped ease her back pain, but also strengthened her stomach muscles and pelvic floor. Impressed by the positive impact it had on her own health, Karen decided to become a Pilates teacher to help others in similar situations.
As a Level 3 Matwork Teacher, Karen is well-equipped to guide individuals of all backgrounds and fitness levels through Pilates exercises. She has also completed additional courses, including Pilates for the Older Person, Pregnancy (Ante- & Postnatal) Pilates, and Pilates with the Foam Roller, among others.
Karen's sessions focus on achieving a complete co-ordination of body, mind, and spirit, aligning with Joseph Pilates' belief.
