Shane, our organiser at Kanuka Yoga Space, wanted to share some exciting updates and invite you to join us at our yoga and wellness studio in Hobsonville, Auckland.
Located in the heart of the neighbourhood, Kanuka Yoga Space offers a range of group classes inspired by vinyasa, hatha, yin, pilates, and other wellness techniques. The studio is all about breath, movement, and mindfulness, creating a supportive environment for everyone, no matter their experience level.
We have a fantastic variety of classes to fit different needs. Fancy a challenge? Give our Power Flow classes a go – they’re strength-based and great for vinyasa and hatha enthusiasts. If you prefer a slower pace, our Slow Flow classes give you extra time between poses to deepen your practice, with helpful alignment tips and props. For those looking to relax and unwind, Restore classes offer a healing experience to destress and rejuvenate.
Our Yin Yang classes mix grounded, seated poses with dynamic sequences, promoting a sense of balance. Meanwhile, Yin classes focus on slow movements and long-held poses to release tension and calm the nervous system.
For a blend of pilates and yoga, try our Yogalates classes. They focus on strengthening the core and toning muscles for improved posture and physique.
We also cater to specific life stages with our Prenatal Yoga series, suitable for expecting mums with no prior yoga experience. Plus, we’re soon launching a Mums + Bubs Yoga series for mothers and their not-yet-crawling little ones.
If you've faced trauma, our Trauma-Sensitive Yoga courses are here to help, approved under ACC Sensitive Claims and running for eight-week stretches with qualified facilitators.
On top of our regular classes, we host workshops and special events. Kickstart your yoga journey with the Foundations of Flow series led by Tanija Luke, perfect for beginners. We also offer non-violent communication (NVC) workshops to enhance communication skills in daily life.
