Established in 1969 by the celebrated Natyacharyas Narasimhachari and Vasanthalakshmi Narasimhachari, Kalasamarpana Foundation stands as a beacon for the preservation and promotion of Indian classical dance. The founders, affectionately known as the “Made for each other couple,” bring a wealth of experience from their training with legendary gurus in various classical dance forms. Narasimhachari, a Kalakshetra alumnus, and Vasanthalakshmi, trained by Sri Bhoopal and Sri. Adyar K. Lakshman, have also gained insights into Odissi, Kathak, Mohiniattam, and Kathakali from illustrious maestros. Their expansive knowledge and exposure to diverse classical traditions have greatly enriched their innovative choreography.
