Just Yoga

Just Yoga is a small and intimate yoga studio located in the beautiful White Gum Valley in Fremantle. With over 10 years of experience in teaching yoga to residents, their mission is to provide a welcoming and nurturing environment for yoga enthusiasts of all levels.

The studio offers a range of classes tailored to suit every student, whether they are beginners or more experienced practitioners. Each class is carefully designed to develop the students' practise and understanding of yoga while also challenging them to grow and expand their capabilities.

Situated in a well-appointed space, Just Yoga's studio is equipped with air conditioning for the summer months and heating for the winter, ensuring a comfortable practise regardless of the season. Additionally, there is ample free off-street parking available off of Carrington St, making it convenient for students to attend classes.

Unfortunately, Just Yoga will be closing its doors on May 21st due to the impending redevelopment of the building it has been operating from since April 2010. Despite extensive efforts to find a suitable alternative location, the studio has been unable to secure a space that meets its requirements for accessible and secure parking, change rooms, and toilets, while also being financially viable. The studio owner, however, remains hopeful and plans to continue teaching through weekend workshops while exploring future teaching opportunities.

As the studio prepares for closure, the owner is not providing recommendations for other teachers or studios but encourages students to find a teacher who respects and suits their individual needs. Prop sales will also be available, with some new props, such as mats, belts, blocks, blankets, shoulder stand cushions, yoga wheels, and bolsters, being offered for sale. Refunds for unused classes on valid class cards will also be provided.

Looking ahead, Just Yoga is considering hosting monthly weekend workshops for interested students. The focus for now, however, remains on teaching the final weeks at the studio before bidding farewell.

Overall, Just Yoga in White Gum Valley has been a beloved and cherished yoga sanctuary for many residents of Fremantle. Although the studio may be closing, the impact it has had on its students and the local community will continue to resonate, and its legacy of providing high-quality yoga instruction in a supportive atmosphere will not be forgotten.
