Girls Hockey Calgary Association is excited to announce the upcoming Jr. Inferno First Strides program for young girls eager to learn the basics of hockey. The program is perfect for little ones aged 4-7 who are just starting out on the ice and want to have fun while developing new skills.
Designed to be a welcoming and non-competitive environment, Jr. Inferno First Strides focuses on building skating and hockey abilities through a series of engaging activities and games. It's a fantastic way for girls to dip their toes into the world of hockey before committing to a minor hockey team.
Just a friendly reminder that all participants will need to come equipped with full hockey gear to ensure everyone's safety during the sessions. Additionally, it's important to note that players should not be registered in another minor hockey program at the same time to maintain a level playing field for all involved.
Registration for the 2024/25 season will kick off on June 14, 2024. Be sure to have proof of age and residence handy when signing up your little athlete. And for parents looking to get involved, there are volunteer opportunities available to lend a hand during the sessions.
Don't miss this chance for your child to take their first strides in the exciting world of hockey with Girls Hockey Calgary Association's Jr. Inferno First Strides program!
