Girls Hockey Calgary Association

Girls Hockey Calgary Association (GHC) in Calgary, Alberta, has been shaping female hockey since 1989. With over 1200 players this season, GHC is Alberta's largest female hockey association.

GHC features the Jr. Inferno community teams for all ages, from U7 (Timbits) to U18. They also host the Calgary Fire, Alberta's biggest female AAA/AA franchise, with U13, U15, and U18 teams competing in the Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL).

Supported by Hockey Calgary, Hockey Alberta, and Hockey Canada, GHC offers prep camps, evaluations, and community initiatives. They aim to provide a supportive environment for players, coaches, and volunteers.

This season, GHC will host events like the Virtual AGM, changes in the competition model, and coach/volunteer award nominations. Exciting news includes a new U18 AAA coach and the expansion of the Calgary Fire Elite Female Hockey Franchise for 2024-25.
