Jo Caley invites the sports community to join her at JOGA Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga in Andover. Her studio focuses on prenatal and postnatal yoga, aiming to support women during their pregnancy and postpartum journey.
Pregnancy Yoga at JOGA helps expectant mothers prepare both body and mind for birth. These classes aim to reduce discomfort, increase breath awareness, and strengthen the body for labour. They provide a space to connect with the unborn baby, learn relaxation techniques, and join a community of women on the same path. Classes are ideal for women from 14 weeks onwards.
Postnatal Yoga at JOGA offers new mums a place to relax, bond with their baby, and reconnect with their bodies. These sessions include gentle movements for the baby to aid flexibility and digestion, as well as baby massage techniques to help with bonding and soothing. The focus is also on regaining strength post-pregnancy, with simple yoga movements, breathwork, and relaxation. Classes are recommended after the 6-week check-up or 8 weeks for those who had a caesarean or episiotomy, until the baby starts crawling.
Jo Caley is dedicated to empowering women through all life stages. A mother of three with homebirth experiences, she knows the importance of feeling prepared and heard during childbirth. After benefiting from pregnancy and baby yoga classes herself, Jo trained in pre and postnatal yoga and baby massage under Katy Appleton.
Jo is excited to offer the same support and guidance she received, giving back to women during this special time. Besides prenatal and postnatal yoga, JOGA also provides Vinyasa Flow Yoga for all abilities, focusing on strength, flexibility, fitness, and overall well-being. Jo's relaxed teaching style ensures everyone feels at ease, encouraging a fun and engaging yoga practice.
Whether you're pregnant, a new mum, or looking to enhance your well-being through yoga, JOGA Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga welcomes you. Join Jo in Andover, Stockbridge, or the Wallops for classes that will leave you feeling empowered, rejuvenated, and supported.
