JL Dance Company is Courtenay's top dance company, dedicated to building community through dance. With beautifully-designed spaces for movement and socialization, we welcome dancers of all levels and backgrounds. Our mission is to provide top-quality dance training in an encouraging and playful environment, aiming to create well-rounded, self-disciplined, confident, and passionate performing artists.

We are excited to offer innovative and cutting-edge opportunities to dancers in the Comox Valley and Vancouver Island. Open to dancers aged 3-18, JL Dance Company is committed to pushing technique to its peak while fostering each student's goals, whether they aspire to a career in dance or simply want to have fun. Our programs offer training focused on technique, classes in various styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, acro, hip-hop, and more, and the chance to work with leading guest choreographers.

With a flexible schedule that accommodates busy families and senior dancers, JL Dance Company provides an intense sense of team pride, opportunities for solo, duet, trio, and small group performances, as well as participation in local and away competitions. We also offer photography and videography services, a winter showcase, and a year-end performance.
