Jaime, the owner and instructor of Jaime's Body Mind Yoga, discovered her love for yoga in 1999. Initially practising in Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand, her passion for yoga has grown over the years. In 2014, she founded Jaime's Body Mind Yoga with the mission to change the world through yoga. Regardless of your age, gender, or ability, attending her yoga classes will have a positive impact on your well-being.
As a mother of three children, Jaime understands the demands and stresses of daily life. Yoga has become her refuge, keeping her fit, strong, centred, and better equipped to cope with life's challenges. She is committed to continuous learning and stays up-to-date with the latest developments in yoga. Jaime is a certified Yoga Alliance Professional with 200-hour Teacher Training, specialising in Yin Yoga, Somatics Yoga, Rainbow Children's, Teens and Community Yoga, Cosmic Kids, Integrating Pregnant Women to class, Chair Yoga, and Meditation.
She is also qualified in first aid and has a Diploma in Face Yoga. Currently, Jaime is studying 'A' Level Anatomy and Physiology to further expand her expertise.
Yoga is based on five principles: asanas (postures), breathing techniques, complete relaxation, a yoga diet, and positive thinking. Regular practise of yoga improves strength, flexibility, balance, posture, clarity, and focus. It also enhances the quality of sleep, reduces stress, and lowers anxiety levels. Jaime's Body Mind Yoga in Balsall Common merges the athletically demanding style of Ashtanga yoga with the accessible postures of Hatha yoga, creating a well-rounded and dynamic yoga experience for students.
