Isle of Wight Dolphins BSAC Scuba Diving and Training

The world by diving into the depths of the ocean. We are the Isle of Wight Dolphins BSAC Scuba Diving and Training club, affiliated with the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), the leading authority in recreational diving in the UK. Our club is located in Newport, and we are passionate about showcasing the beauty of the underwater world.

For those who have always dreamt of exploring the underwater realm, we offer a Try Scuba Diving experience for only 30. This introductory session allows individuals to get a taste of scuba diving with the guidance of our experienced instructors. If you become hooked and want to take your diving journey further, we offer a comprehensive Ocean Diver course starting in February 2024. This course combines theory lessons, pool training, and open water dives to ensure you receive a thorough and safe diving education.

Already a certified diver? We welcome divers from other training agencies, including PADI and SAA, and offer advanced courses such as Sports Diver, Dive Leader, Advanced Diver, Boat Handling, and other skill courses to enhance your diving skills and knowledge.

The Isle of Wight is renowned for its stunning dive sites, and we make the most of our surroundings. Our club specialises in a variety of dive types, including open water diving (70%), sheltered water diving (30%), wreck dives (50%), reef dives (30%), and shore dives (20%). With over 4000 shipwrecks surrounding the Isle of Wight, ranging from Victorian steamers to warships, our dives offer an opportunity to explore historical sites and witness a diverse array of marine life.
