In the late 1950s, Professor Kam Hock Hoe migrated to Australia and established the International Jui-Jitsu Foundation (IJJF) Walkaway in the City of Greater Geraldton. The club quickly gained recognition for its comprehensive and disciplined approach to teaching Japanese Jui-Jitsu. Today, the IJJF Walkaway club continues to uphold the values of honour, justice, and service through the art of Jui-Jitsu.

It typically takes 5 to 10 years of dedicated practise to earn a black belt.
