Welcome to International Jui-Jitsu Foundation Broadbeach Waters, a renowned sports club located in the Gold Coast. Our martial arts programme combines traditional Japanese Jui-Jitsu with modern training techniques to provide a comprehensive and effective self-defence system.

At International Jui-Jitsu Foundation Broadbeach Waters, we believe in more than just physical fitness. We emphasise tradition and cultivate the skills and discipline necessary for advanced martial arts training.

As you progress through our programme, you will develop confidence, self-respect, and discipline that can be applied to all aspects of your life. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping you achieve your martial arts goals and are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

To get started, simply wear comfortable clothing such as a t-shirt, sweatpants, or shorts if you don't have a uniform. We recommend bringing water and a notebook to each class. Beginners will receive a white belt, and belt colours represent different stages of advancement, which are not transferable between schools.

During class, it is important to address the instructor as “Sensei” and use first names for other students. Bowing is a sign of respect and mental preparation, and we use specific bowing techniques in our training. Safety is also a priority, and before learning tripping and throwing techniques, you will be taught break-falling techniques and how to attack and fall safely.

Our Jui-Jitsu lessons cover joint locks, break-falling, and ground grappling. We also prioritise safety and ask that students listen carefully, be respectful, avoid bad behaviour, ask for permission, tap out if needed, and follow our safety rules.

International Jui-Jitsu Foundation Broadbeach Waters is conveniently located in the heart of Mudgeeraba at 8 Mount Olive Court. Our classes run on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Whether you are seeking self-defence skills, increased fitness, or personal growth, our classes cater to individuals of all ages and experience levels.
