Division football in 2005. In 2010, the club rebranded to Stanmore Hawks FC and began its climb back up the ranks.
In recent years, Stanmore Hawks FC has experienced significant success. The seniors currently compete in the NSW NPL3, winning the competition in 2019. Our youth teams compete in the NSW NPL2, showcasing the club's commitment to developing talented young players.
Stanmore Hawks FC takes pride in not only developing players' skills but also instilling important qualities such as hard work, persistence, integrity, and respect, both on and off the pitch. We believe that our players should not only excel in football but also grow as individuals.
The club's home fixtures are held at the iconic Arlington Oval in Dulwich Hill, which has been the Hawks' home for the past ten years. This stadium holds a special place in our history, as it has witnessed numerous memorable moments for our club.
In collaboration with the Cyprus Community Club of NSW, which is based in Stanmore, Inner West Hawks FC works closely with the community to provide a strong and trusted foundation for players, staff, and supporters. The Cyprus Community Club serves as our home base, hosting significant meetings, fundraisers, and events.
The rich history of Inner West Hawks FC dates back to its founding in 1978 by the Greek-Cypriot Community of Sydney under the name “Cyprus United”. Since then, the club has embarked on an incredible journey, experiencing promotions and relegations, but always persevering.
With 44 years of history behind us, Inner West Hawks FC continues to strive for excellence and progress. The club's name change to Inner West Hawks FC represents the expansion of its reach and influence beyond Stanmore, encompassing the entire Inner West region of Sydney.
