Industry Boulders

Industry Boulders is a rock climbing gym and sports complex located in Grovedale, Australia. This facility offers a unique climbing experience known as bouldering, which does not require the use of ropes. Participants can challenge themselves mentally and physically by climbing up to 4. 3 metres over a bed of foam mats designed for a softer landing.

For first-time climbers, Industry Boulders provides a FREE climbing shoe and chalk hire on their initial visit. Participants will need to read and sign a Participation Agreement, which can be filled out online or at one of their facility waiver stations. Participants under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to sign the agreement.

Industry Boulders offers various sessions and events, which can be found on their calendar. They have flexible pricing options to accommodate different needs. A day pass provides unlimited climbing for one day, allowing climbers to leave and return later if desired. The pricing for adults is $20 for a day pass and $18 for concessions.

They also offer a 10 visit pass, where customers pay for 9 day passes and receive the 10th visit for free.

Membership options are available for those who want unlimited climbing access. Memberships include perks such as free friend passes, discounts on gear shop items, and more. There are monthly, half-yearly, and annual membership options, with pricing ranging from $105 – $120 for concessions and $900 – $1050 for adults.

In addition to climbing fees, Industry Boulders provides extra services such as shoe hire and chalk bucket hire at $5 each, or a combined shoe and chalk bucket hire for $9.

The facility is located at 39/8 Lewalan Street, Grovedale, and is easily accessible by public transport. They are only 1. 4 kilometres away from Marshall train station and have bike racks available for cyclists. Opening hours vary throughout the week, with the facility being open from 4pm – 9:30pm on weekdays, 10am – 6pm on weekends, and closed on Sundays.

Industry Boulders welcomes climbers of all ages, but children under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. While there is no age limit at the facility, climbs may be more suitable for participants aged 10 and older due to height restrictions. Climbers should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes suitable for exercise, and tops must always be worn. Enclosed, dirt-free shoes are required for climbing, and participants can bring their own socks if they choose to rent climbing shoes from the facility.
