The Illawarra District Table Tennis Association Inc is excited to announce a series of upcoming events and activities that are sure to ignite your passion for table tennis.
First up, mark your calendars for the Annual General Meeting on February 13th at 7:30pm. This gathering will take place at the Beaton Park Leisure Centre, specifically in the Ted Tobin Hall. It's the perfect opportunity to get involved and have your voice heard.
After the AGM, we'll be hosting a practice session that will run until 10:30pm. So if you're itching to sharpen your skills or simply fancy a friendly match with fellow table tennis enthusiasts, this is the place to be.
Now, let's talk about our thrilling competition that will take place on Mondays. We kick things off at 7:20pm and play through until 10:30pm. It's going to be an adrenaline-filled battle on the table, and we can't wait to see who comes out on top.
For those of you interested in our Pennant competition, here are the key dates: March 6, 13, 20, and 27. Please note that there will be no play on the 17th of April due to the Easter holidays. We may also have additional dates without play due to a roof replacement, so stay tuned for further updates.
As the year progresses, our competition will continue throughout May, June, and July. The semi-finals promise to be nail-biting from July 17th to July 31st. Join us as we witness the very best in table tennis talent square off for a shot at victory.
But that's not all, folks! We have the much-anticipated Closed Championships coming up from August 7th to August 14th. This is where the true champions rise up and showcase their extraordinary skills. You won't want to miss a single second of this action-packed event.
As we transition into the later part of the year, our Spring competition will commence on August 28th and continue until October 30th. However, keep in mind that there will be no play on Labor day. So get ready to embrace the spring spirit while delivering powerful serves and swift smashes.
In addition to all the competitions, we will also be offering training and coaching sessions on Thursdays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Starting on February 16th and running until November 30th, these sessions are designed to help you hone your technique and take your game to the next level.
Last but certainly not least, our committee meetings will be held at the Beaton Park Leisure Centre Child Minding Room on various dates throughout the year. These meetings are essential for shaping the future of our club, so your input is greatly valued and appreciated.
