Iconic Jiu Jitsu was founded by head coach Grant Bradshaw, a highly skilled Royce Gracie Black Belt trained by Luke Beston, one of Australia's most experienced Gracie Jiu Jitsu practitioners. With over 15 years of martial arts experience and 20 years of teaching experience as a professional PE teacher, Grant brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his coaching.
Iconic Jiu Jitsu offers Brazilian Gracie Jiu Jitsu classes for all age groups, including Junior Kids (4–8 years old), Senior Kids (9–13 years old), and Teens (13–19 years old). The Junior Kids programme focuses on bully proofing your child and developing fundamental body movement, control, correct technique, and basic submissions through engaging games and play-wrestling. The Senior Kids programme aims to build confidence and resilience by teaching efficient techniques for takedowns, control, and submissions, while also offering real-world self-defence applications and opportunities for sports and competition.
For teens, Iconic Jiu Jitsu offers the option to join the adult classes on a case-by-case basis, with additional support and mentors available to ensure they are well-supported within the adult curriculum.
The adults' programme at Iconic Jiu Jitsu is exceptional, with expert planning and teaching led by a highly qualified Black Belt teacher. With over 20 years of experience in Physical Education, you can trust that the classes are not only fun and safe but also practical. You will learn realistic self-defence techniques that can be applied both on the training mat and in the real world, as well as highly efficient techniques used by top athletes worldwide.
Iconic Jiu Jitsu is also dedicated to supporting the growth of female members and regularly runs women's-only sessions free of charge to further encourage and empower women within the martial art.
The training schedule at Iconic Jiu Jitsu offers members training opportunities six days a week. From early morning classes for adults, to kids and teens classes throughout the day, there are options to suit everyone's schedule. A variety of classes for adults, including Gi & No Gi, sparring, and Women's Only Gi, provide a well-rounded training experience.
