Charlie and the team at Hurley Kings FC are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for youth football. They’ve held the prestigious FA Chartered Status since 2006, renewing it each year to meet top standards for governance and safeguarding.
Hurley Kings FC focuses on giving kids of all abilities a chance to play football. They believe in skill development through teamwork and good football values. While winning isn't the top priority, the well-being, safety, and enjoyment of every child are key.
Based in Hurley Common, North Warwickshire, just 2.5 miles from Kingsbury Water Park, the club boasts its own private ground with great facilities. Teams play in the Tamworth Junior Football League, offering young players a supportive environment to grow and shine.
All teams are led by Level 1 qualified coaches, who are also parents and dedicated volunteers. They all undergo DBS checks for player safety. Charlie and the team are always on the lookout for new folks keen to dive into grassroots football. They help newcomers get DBS checked and become Level 1 qualified coaches, enriching youth football development.
For the 2023/2024 season, Hurley Kings FC is prepping teams for the Tamworth Junior Football League, Burton Junior Football League, and the Tamworth and District Sunday Football League. Teams range from 5-a-side for Year 2 kids to 11-a-side for adults and teenagers. There’s also a mini-kickers group for Reception and Year 1 children, training on Monday evenings.
