Huonville Swimming Pool

Huonville Swimming Pool, located on Heron Street in Huonville, is a popular public swimming pool that offers a range of facilities and services for both locals and visitors. The pool boasts a 50m heated outdoor pool, making it a perfect destination for swimming and other aquatic activities. Additionally, there is a separate pool specifically designed for toddlers, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for the whole family.

The pool operates from Saturday 4 November 2023 to Sunday 31 March 2024, seven days a week (except Christmas Day and 20 January 2024 for the Huon Valley Aquatic Medal Meet). During school terms, the pool is open from 12 noon to 6pm on weekdays and from 10am to 6pm on weekends. It is important to note that on weekdays during December, February, and March, the pool hosts school carnivals from 9am to 3pm, which means it will be closed to the public until 3pm on those days. Carnival dates are displayed on the pool noticeboard and on the Huonville Swimming Pool website.

For those who prefer early morning lap swimming, the pool offers this option three days a week from 6:30am to 8:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. However, it is worth mentioning that early morning lap swimming will be suspended during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, with the last day being Friday 22 December 2023 and recommencing on Monday 8 January 2024.
