Welcome to Howden Clough Junior Football Club, the heart of the Birstall and Batley community and the heart of Tigers. As an FA Charter Standard Community Grassroots Football Club, Howden Clough JFC is dedicated to providing the opportunity for all children to play the nation's favourite sport.
Established in 1976, Howden Clough JFC has a long-standing history and is proud to have around 400 registered players, ranging from 4 years old to open age groups. The club is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, including the Club Committee, Coaches, Referees, Child Welfare, Event Organisers, Training Coordinators, Fundraisers, and Tuck Shop Staff, all working together to develop the club and its players into one of the region's greatest and largest junior football clubs.
Training sessions and football matches take place on the Astro turf and grass pitches behind Batley Sports and Tennis Centre and Batley Girls High School. Our Open Age teams play at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre and the Leeds Road Playing Fields in Howden Clough. Each of our coaches is DBS checked and safeguard trained, ensuring the safety and well-being of our players at all times.

The Howden Clough Committee plays a fundamental role in the management and development of the club. Composed entirely of dedicated volunteers, many of whom coach age groups or have children playing in age groups, the committee ensures the continued success of Howden Clough JFC.
