For adults looking to learn and excel in dancing, The Dance Academy offers a range of adult dance classes. These classes are designed to help beginners become accomplished dancers within a relaxed and social environment. The experienced instructors provide expert guidance, ensuring that students progress at their own pace while enjoying the process. In addition to the regular classes, there are plenty of opportunities for adult students to socialise at the school's regular social dances and party evenings.
The Dance Academy provides adult group tuition, which is a great way to discover the joy of dancing in a fun and welcoming environment. The dance programme offers a flexible 16-week course, with two new dances introduced every four weeks. This allows individuals to join the classes at the beginning of any four-week session. The programme is beginner-friendly, catering to those with limited or no dance experience.
Additionally, the dance hall features a fully licenced bar, enhancing the overall evening experience.
The classes are structured as a continuous programme, spanning 16 weeks. Each month, two new dances are introduced and taught, with each session consisting of a 45-minute instructional class followed by a 45-minute supervised practise session. The main focus of the classes is to create a relaxed and social atmosphere where students can enjoy themselves and improve their dance skills. Newcomers are always welcome at the beginning of each month, coinciding with the introduction of the two new dances for that month.
