Jean Busch would like to share some information with the local sports community about Holmes Park Croquet Club in Christchurch. Jean invites anyone interested in croquet to visit the club, which can be found off English Street between Yaldhurst Road and Main South Road, near the Riccarton Road corner. Just follow the pathway that runs alongside a drive leading to a small townhouse development.
The club hosts regular club days for both Association Croquet (AC) and Golf Croquet (GC) on Wednesdays and Saturdays, beginning at 1:30 pm. New players keen on learning the game can also join coaching sessions available at 11 am on club days. The club prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere, with many members focusing on golf croquet.
For any questions or to get in touch, you can contact Jean Busch at 021 071 4439 or email her at jeanbusch@xtra.co.nz. Jean is always happy to provide information and answer any queries you may have.
Holmes Park Croquet Club is part of the Canterbury Croquet Association, which supports and coordinates several clubs in the region. The association organises various tournaments and competitions for players of all skill levels and offers helpful resources and newsletters on their website.
