Holistic Birth Journey, the Yoga club in London, is excited to promote an upcoming event called the Alexa Dean Doula Pregnancy Postnatal Yoga & Massage workshop. This workshop is specifically designed for couples who are looking to deepen their connection and prepare for the labour and birth process. It's a wonderful opportunity for partners to strengthen their bond and support the birthing woman during this significant and intense time.
During the workshop, participants will be introduced to a range of techniques including yoga poses, partnering poses, massage techniques, and breath and alignment exercises. These tools can be utilised to provide comfort and support to the birthing woman during labour, as well as alleviate any aches and discomfort that may arise. The workshop is suitable for all trimesters, experience levels, and body sizes, so no prior yoga experience is necessary. It's a welcoming and inclusive space for anyone who is interested in learning and preparing for the birth experience.
Previous participants have shared their positive and empowering experiences from attending this workshop. Many have found the techniques and massages learned during the session to be incredibly helpful, allowing them to approach labour with a calm and confident mindset. The workshop offers two options for participation. There is a group session in-person, which costs £125 per couple and lasts for 3 hours. This option allows participants to engage with others and benefit from the collective energy and support. Alternatively, there is a private workshop option available, where the session takes place in the comfort of your own home. This option costs £180 and lasts for 2 hours, providing a more personalised experience.
