Holdance Studios is a brand new dance school located in Hailsham, East Sussex. With classes for students aged 2 years to adults, they offer a range of dance styles including ballet, tap, modern, and musical theatre, with a focus on continually expanding their class offerings.
The founder and lead instructor, Miss Christine, began her dance training at the young age of 3 and joined Zoe Pennington Dance Studios when she was 8 years old. Throughout her dance journey, she has been involved in various shows such as dance shows, cabarets, pantomimes, and plays. She has also competed in dance festivals and completed examinations in ballet, tap, modern, and musical theatre. Miss Christine even had the opportunity to represent her studio in the dance World Cup twice.
Continuing her studies at the University of Chichester, Miss Christine earned a BA Honours degree in musical theatre and arts Development. After graduating, she began her teacher training at J's Dance Factory in Kidderminster, where she obtained her level 3 diploma in freestyle dance teaching. Miss Christine has recently completed her level 4 in dance teaching, allowing her to enter her students for examinations.
